TACTICAL RPG / PARTY STRATEGY
First Crossing
A tactical RPG fought on a grid: create your hero, gather companions and fight turn-based battles across two chapters of twenty stages. Between battles you equip the team, spar in the Training Yard and climb the Tower.
A playable demo that is still in development. Content, balance and saves may change between updates, and progress is kept only in this browser.
IN THIS BUILD
Lead a party across grid battlefields, one turn at a time, through two chapters, a 30-floor Tower and a headquarters of your own.
First Crossing opens with a character creator where you name your hero and choose a body and look, followed by a short illustrated prologue. Battles are fought on a grid: you move each unit to a tile and choose an attack, skill or item, or switch on Auto and play at Speed x2. Chapter 1 has ten stages on a painted map, and Chapter 2 adds ten more whose objectives go beyond defeating every enemy, such as surviving six turns, reaching a goal or holding positions. Between battles the headquarters offers an Armory with four equipment slots and a side-by-side comparison, a store, a Training Yard where sparring pays nothing and injures no one, and a Tower of 30 floors. This demo keeps your progress in your browser, and its interface is in English only.

CONTROLS AND DEVICES
How to play
Mouse or touch: select a unit, pick the tile to move to, then choose its action. Menus and the map work the same way.
Turn on Auto to let the team fight by itself, and switch between Speed x1 and x2. On phones, use the game's own Full screen button on the map, team and HQ screens.
Every device gets the same web build; the first visit downloads about 40 MB and further art streams in as you reach it. On a phone, play in landscape; held upright, the whole game shows at the top of the screen with a prompt to turn the phone. iPhone Safari has no in-page full screen, so the game suggests Add to Home Screen instead.
